Inspired by the layered colors of an Appalachian sunset, the Blue Ridge Sunset Bar is an artisan soap that’s as beautiful to look at as it is satisfying to use. Each bar is hand-poured and naturally colored, making every one slightly unique — no two sunsets are ever the same.

This soap is made the traditional way, with the majority of the formula coming from grass-fed beef tallow and pastured lard. These time-honored fats create a dense, creamy lather that feels rich and luxurious on the skin, leaving it feeling soft and well cared for after each use. Small amounts of plant oils are added to balance the bar and enhance lather, without overpowering the benefits of animal fats.

The result is a long-lasting, moisturizing bar with a smooth, indulgent feel — the kind of soap that turns a simple wash into a quiet moment of care.

Ingredients & Why We Use Them

Grass-Fed Beef Tallow
A traditional soapmaking fat that creates a firm, long-lasting bar with a rich, creamy lather. Tallow has been used in personal care for generations and is valued for the soft, well-conditioned feel it leaves on the skin.

Pastured Lard

Organic Coconut Oil (small amount)
Included to boost lather and help the bar rinse clean, without overpowering the conditioning qualities of the animal fats.

Organic Castor Oil (small amount)
Used to enhance lather texture and give the soap a smooth, polished feel.

Organic Olive Oil (small amount)
A classic soap ingredient that supports a gentle, stable lather and adds balance to the formula.

Activated Charcoal
