Natural Soap Making Workshop (Pilot, VA) May 31st @2:00pm

from $30.00

Join us for a hands-on introduction to traditional soap making. I LOVE hosting these workshops. We always have so much fun together and we always leave with new friends. You’re going to learn the basics of soap making and I guarantee laughter and good times to go with it.

With a participant ticket, you’ll make and customize your very own small loaf of cold process soap from start to finish. We’ll walk through the full process together, covering safety, ingredient choices, and what to expect as your soap sets and cures.

Whether you’re planning to make your own at home or just want to understand how it all works, we’ll walk you through it all and have some fun in the process!

📍Pilot, VA - Address to be provided by email after ticket purchase.

⏳ Plan for two hours but I’ll stay until the last question is answered. These events are always so much fun and I clear my schedule to avoid having to cut it short. Consider this your social event of the afternoon!

Scroll down for more information and ticketing options. PLEASE read the entire “what you need to know” section before completing your ticket purchase.

What you need to know

  • This is the full, hands-on experience.

    Participants will:

    • Work directly at a table to make and customize their own small loaf of soap

    • Be provided with safety gear (safety glasses, gloves, and a mask)

    • Receive a mold filled with their soap to take home

The soap will need to sit in the mold for 24–48 hours before being cut, so the mold goes home with you.

  • This option is for those who want to learn without participating in the hands-on portion.

    Observers will:

    • Sit behind the participant tables with a clear view of the full process

    • Watch each step from start to finish

    • Receive the guide with recipe and instructions

    • Be able to ask questions throughout the workshop

Observers will not be seated at participant tables, as safety gear is not provided for these seats.

    • All attendees must be 14 years or older

    • A parent or guardian must be present for minors and willing to sign a full safety release

    • Regardless of age, observers will not be permitted to sit at participant tables due to safety requirements
